A website for the Islamic Center in Gulfport

4- How, where, & when?

The Masjid is located at 4226 Central St. Gulfport, MS 39501.
It is divided into two sections, by gender. This is meant to help our brothers and sisters focus on the purpose of coming to the masjid —to pray to God, not being distracted by any worldly matters.
Eid prayers can take place indoor, outdoor, or both as needed. Food is usually served after prayer
Funeral prayer is usually established outdoors.

The Center currently serves as prayer place only.
The center is not manned except for certain prayers; mainly, Fajr, Maghrib, Isha, and Jumaa. The doors are locked at all other times.
In Ramadan, it may be open at additional times or for longer periods, but we do not have a time table to provide here.
Azan times calendar is posted on the website but the actual prayer time may be lightly different. Will update when information is available.
Khutba for Jumaa prayer starts at 1:00 PM. This may change so please keep an eye out for our announcements. Both Khutba and Salat are relatively short and can be easily missed if you don’t arrive early enough. Parking space on the property is limited.
